Successful Events manage corporate events all the way from the registration and booking process to the on-site equipment and accessories required for an event to run smoothly.

Client brief

Successful Events commissioned Angelfish to create an online system to manage the registration of event delegates and attendees.  This information was previously managed through a variety of methods but lacked a centralised infrastructure to bring it all together. The aim was to streamline the advance delegate registration process all the way from dietary requirements to the booking of hotels.

Admin Site (Backend)

• Set up and manage events, locations and hotels.
• Set up and manage room booking options (single, twin, double, etc.) and rates.
• Set up and manage event packages and prices.
• Set up and manage dietary requirements.
• View and update delegates who have registered online.
• Link to third party hotel booking system for room reservations.

Public Booking

• View event description, dates and available hotels.
• Book hotel rooms.
• Register details and select package.
• Set dietary and other special requirements.
• Make secure payments online.

Angelfish comments

Event management is a diverse subject, with a sometimes complex set of requirements.  Successful Events take a very tailored approach to the subject which requires a bespoke management system that can respond quickly to evolving requirements.  Angelfish and Successful Events have worked in partnership since 2017, during which time the Event Registration part of the business and booking system have been through several upgrade cycles to ensure that they are able to serve trhe changing requirements of the event organisers.
