B&B Manager provides a number of tools to assist you when processing guests and bookings. These are described below.

Calculator

You can view the standard Windows calculator by selecting Tools > Calculator from the top menu.

Credit Card Validator

This can be accessed by selecting Tools > Card Validator from the top menu. The validator allows you to select one of three card types (Visa, Mastercard or Amex) and enter the card number. All credit card numbers are created according to specific rules relating to the digits use. Clicking on the Validate button will tell you whether or not the specified number is a potentially valid number for the selected card type. Please note that this does not constitute a pre-authorisation of the card (where the number is matched to a named individual) but it does provide a good first-up check on the validity of card numbers provided as a means of securing bookings.
